AP CM was a star campaigner who campaigned in Shahdara constituency of East Delhi. Babu campaigned in places with large pockets of Telugu population and even made it a point to talk in Telugu there.
The candidate he campaigned for Sanjay Goel has won the seat with a margin of 5000 votes showing the role that Babu played in garnering votes for the BJP.

Babu with 16 MPs is the second largest constituent of the ruling NDA alliance. He has strongly appreciated the powerful governance of Modi and made sure that people understood the development Delhi would see if the BJP comes to power.
He said the central government was providing various schemes like potable drinking water vis-a-vis the polluted water in Delhi.

Babu strongly hit out at Kejriwal for keeping Yamuna polluted despite making promises for a decade. He said the pollution levels were unbearable in the capital and the Delhi people surely needed a power-packed government to turn it into a world-class capital.
“Who is responsible for the stench?” he roared. He likened Kejriwal to YS Jagan and said we don’t want opportunistic politicians or those building palaces for themselves. We need leaders who can build the nation. If you want development, vote for BJP, he said.

He also hailed the Union budget and how it focused on farmers, gig workers, middle class, youth and marginalized people.
Babu is himself an example of one who’s state is reaping benefits due to alliance with BJP. The Shahdara people have surely got the message as they voted Goel to Assembly!
