One of the main accused in AP liquor scam, Sajjala Sridhar Reddy, has been brought to Vijayawada by SIT officials. He will be presented in ACB Court on Saturday.
The SPY Agro Industries owner is one of the main accused in the case. He is A6 in the case and was arrested in Jubilee Hills on Friday. On Saturday, he was brought to Vijayawada.

After coming to power in 2019, the Jagan’s government implemented a new liquor policy. Under this, a group of biggies from YSRCP met up regularly to discuss about getting Rs 50-60 crore kickbacks every month.
Sajjala Sridhar Reddy was part of every meeting along with MP Mithun Reddy, ex YSRCP member Vijaysai Reddy, the then IT advisor Raj Kasireddy, APSBCL ex MD Vasudeva Reddy and APSBCL special officer Satya Prasad.

Already Raj Kasireddy has been taken into remand and SIT is unravelling the case by gathering proofs and recording key statements from those involved.
