Tamil superstar has taken a plunge into politics with his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). He is intending to fight DMK in the next state elections.
One of the flashpoints in Tamil Nadu is scraping of NEET(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and Vijay has been constantly hitting out at ruling DMK for making a U-turn on its election promises.

Vijay who’s last film would be Thalapathy 69, is gearing up to enter politics full-time. And with state elections to be held in 2026, Vijay is moving his pawns.
Apart from holding mass meetings, Vijay is now set to meet Prashant Kishor. It is an interesting development in Tamil Nadu as the state mostly votes for regional parties.

With AIADMK losing base, Vijay intends to counter DMK and has his eyes on the CM’s post.
The talk is that a deal would be struck to work together with Prashant Kishor for 2026 elections. It is also being said that PK is preparing Vijay to take up either a padayatra or bus yatra in Tamil Nadu soon.
