TCS Land For 99 Paisa In Vizag

Andhra Pradesh Cabinet had ratified the Proposal to allocate 21.16 Acres of Land in Vishakapatnam to TCS for 99 Paisa per acre.

TCS is expected to start a Mega Campus here with an investment of 1,370 Crore and create 12,000 jobs.

YSR Congress ecosystem is targeting the Government on this allocation, saying that costly land is allocated for free, and is also alleging corruption in this deal.

But then, these allegations are completely senseless.

TCS is the market leader in the IT Space in India. Getting them to invest in Andhra Pradesh is a huge head start for the state in IT.

No IT Major will have any motivation to invest in Andhra Pradesh right now because they have better options like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, etc.

The incentives are vital to lure a company, especially during times of Global uncertainty.

TCS coming to Vishakapatnam may usher in the growth of IT in the City.

Once TCS becomes operational, AP’s Talent Pool will automatically be retained in the state, and the Talent Pool from other states will arrive in the city, giving a big push to the economy.

Once the economy thrives, automatically, other big companies will follow.

Remember what happened to Hyderabad when Chandrababu Naidu first brought Microsoft to the city.

As far as the low price of land is concerned, allegations of corruption are a joke because TATAs have an impeccable reputation and integrity.

Those criticizing the Government have no basis whatsoever and are trying to create propaganda against the Government.

Minister Nara Lokesh played a very crucial role in bringing TCS to Vishakapatnam by convincing TCS Chairman Chandrasekharan. This is also an attempt to belittle Lokesh’s achievement.

In the last five years, Jagan Mohan Reddy spent the entire time in the name of empty promises of Executive Capital. Not a single brick has been laid in Vishakapatnam between 2019 and 2024.

YSR Congress can not digest the fact that something is happening on the ground in the new Government.
