
On May 27, Mahanadu will be held in Kadapa’s Kamalapuram. TDP is making preparations to make it a grand success. But the main agenda of this Mahanadu is promoting Nara Lokesh as the Next Gen leader, say party insiders.
The main objective of Mahanadu is to give youth a platform and bring forward the new generation, it is being said. Naidu will be focusing on organisational restructuring, it is being said.

It is known that Nara Lokesh held Yuva Galam and became close to the youth of the state by going into people. Hence, keeping the future of TDP in mind, the party is expected to give him a key role in the party, making use of this opportunity.
Lokesh has been playing a key role both internally and externally to promote TDP and in the development of Andhra Pradesh. After coming to power, he has been fulfilling all the promises made to the people of Mangalagiri one after the other. Lokesh revamped the education system in the state, though he says there is still a lot to do.

Lokesh has also been pro-active and quite aggressive in bringing in huge foreign investments. His role at Davos has won over the Telugus and CEOs of various industries.
Lokesh is presently the party general secretary, the TDP members share that the big plan is to make him the TDP working president. Naidu would like to give the party reigns to Lokesh, so that Naidu can focus on governance and administration, the TDP’s older generation shares.
