Since the TDP came to power in Andhra Pradesh, the new government has been actively addressing issues and exposing the previous YSRCP administration. One significant issue that has gained attention is the alleged land grabbing by former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy.

In Madanapalle, files related to land records were destroyed in the Sub-Collectorate office, leading to numerous complaints against Peddireddy and his followers. These complaints have compelled the TDP government to initiate an inquiry.
Despite winning a narrow victory in the Punganur Assembly Constituency during the 2024 elections, Peddireddy and his son Midhun Reddy have been unable to enter the constituency since the TDP’s return to power. The TDP plans to address these issues through a public forum, or “Prajadarbar,” in Punganur.

TDP Minister Ramprasad Reddy will lead the Prajadarbar to uncover Peddireddy’s alleged corrupt practices. Requests and complaints from the public will be collected, and TDP flag unveiling programs will be conducted in various mandal centers of the constituency. TDP Constituency In-Charge Challa Ramachandra Reddy, along with other TDP members, will actively participate in these activities.
The recent incident of land records being set on fire in the Madanapalle RDO office has raised suspicions of foul play. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is accused of orchestrating the fire to cover up irregularities.

Special Chief Secretary Sisodia is currently leading an inquiry into the incident and has held meetings with tehsildars from 11 mandals of the Madanapalle division. The police investigation into the file burning is also progressing rapidly.
In addition to the government inquiry, the TDP is leveraging the Prajadarbar to politically challenge the Peddireddy family and highlight alleged corruption. This approach aims to address public grievances and strengthen TDP’s position in the region by exposing any misconduct by Peddireddy and his associates.
