A strange incident took place in Karimnagar. Madhukar, a software employee from Huzurabad’s Rangapur, landed in trouble after eloping with another girl, after getting engaged to one girl.
As he ran away with Rs 1 crore dowry, the to-be-bride’s family approached the police. Madhukar cheated both the families by getting engaged and later eloping with dowry money.

Madhukar was engaged to a girl in Katrapalli. The engagement was a grand affair and the wedding was supposed to happen on May 17. Even as both families were busy with wedding works, Madhukar went away with another girl and secretly married her.
By the time the bride’s family got to know of this, Madhukar’s family refused to give back dowry money. With no option, the to-be-bride’s family approached the police.

The family had given Rs 40 lakh worth half acre land, 10 tolas gold and Rs 6 lakh in cash. What is surprising is that Madhukar’s father sided with his son. The police are now on a lookout for Madhukar.
