
Ex YSRCP MLA Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy attended police investigation in Sri Satyasai district’s CK Pally PS. He is accused in the helicopter incident in Papireddypalle during YS Jagan’s visit.
It is known that there was a stampede of sorts when Jagan’s helicopter landed. Even before Jagan could get out of the helicopter, people rushed forward. At the same time, some members of YSRCP cadre threw stones at the police resulting in injuries.

Thopudurthi did not follow the safety guidelines given by the police during Jagan’s visit. On investigation, police found that ex MLA Thopudurthi instigated people near the helipad and tried to make it appear as security failure.
Following that, a case was filed on Thopudurthi.

On April 8, Jagan visited Raptadu in Sri Satyasai district to console the family of Kuruba Lingamaiah who died due to factional violence. It was said that YSRCP member Lingamaiah was killed by members of Paritala faction.
