
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is in the news again due to his comments regarding the Tirupati Laddu controversy.
The Hyderabad City Civil Court has issued summons to him in connection with this issue, ordering him to appear personally in court on November 22.

The controversy arose from Pawan Kalyan’s statements suggesting that adulterated ghee was used in the preparation of the Tirupati laddus sent to Ayodhya in January.
His remarks allegedly hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community, prompting advocate Immaneni Ramarao to file a petition in court.

After reviewing the petition, the court accepted it for hearing and issued notices to Pawan Kalyan and Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari.
The City Civil Court, presided over by Chief Justice Y. Renuka, has also requested that the relevant government departments take action to remove Pawan Kalyan’s comments from social media platforms, websites, and YouTube channels.
