Back in August last year, the TTD Board took an unexpected decision as they decided to stop using Nandhini Ghee in the preparation of the famous Laddus. This was an unexpected decision after having used Nandhini ghee over the years.

In the aftermath, there were certain complaints about the quality and the taste of Tirumala laddus. which Nara Lokesh promised to address.

Cut to now, the TTD board has taken a substantial decision with regard to the preparation of the laddus.

The board has now decided to bring back the Nandhini ghee for preparation purposes. This quality ghee will be procured from the Nandhini Diary company which is based in Karnataka and is known for its quality products.

The decision to bring back Nandhini ghee for Tirumala laddus is likely to have an immediate change in the taste and quality of the product.

The price of the laddu is likely to remain the same though, which is the good news.
