TTD Allocates VIP Darshan For Telangana Leaders

After appeals to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, finally, it’s time for some good news for Telangana devotees waiting to go to Tirumala.

Various Telangana leaders including endowments minister Konda Surekha, BJP MP Raghunandana Rao have requested that recommendation letters from Telangana leaders be accepted in Tirumala. Letters were written to Chandrababu and even TTD directly.

Konda Surekha had said that she will take up the issue directly with Chandrababu. Till now, there was no response, but today, the directives were released causing joy to political leaders and devotees.

The recommendation letters will now be accepted from March 24. CM Chandrababu Naidu had given directives to TTD, following which the decision was taken.

But the decision comes with some hitches. For the VIP break darshan, letters will be accepted on Sundays and Mondays. For Rs 300 special darshan, the letters will be accepted only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The VIP Darshan letters will have to be given one day in advance while Rs 300 darshan letters have to be given on the day of darshan.

One recommendation letter by one person, not exceeding six people will be given to devotees, the TTD has said. MPs, MLAs and MLCs can give recommendation letters.
