revanth-reddy one year progress report

The Revanth Reddy’s Government in Telangana has completed one year in power recently and its honeymoon period is also over. The first year has been disappointing because Revanth Reddy struggled to leave his mark on the administration so far.

“I have changed. It’s time that you should also change,” Revanth Reddy reportedly told his MLAs when they met the Chief Minister on New Year’s Day.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Revanth Reddy got the First Year Report Card collaborating with the Survey Reports of Sunil Kanugolu and the Government Intelligence Department.

The findings say two Ministers were completely non-performing and were not interested.

And then, twenty MLAs were completely absent in their constituencies. They are inaccessible to the people and the cadre is also inactive in the constituencies. The Chief Minister is planning to summon the MLAs and talk to them personally.

He will hand them over their Progress Reports in sealed covers and seek an explanation.

Also, it will be interesting to know who are the two non-performing Ministers in Revanth Reddy’s team.

The problem for Revanth Reddy is that his cabinet is full of seniors. They were senior to him in the administration as well as in the Congress Party. Hence he could not exercise control on them.

Also, the culture in Congress is different. The Chief Minister does not have complete control and the High Command micromanages the Chief Minister too. So, Revanth Reddy is struggling to gain control on his Ministers.
