Vallabhaneni Vamsi is now behind bars in the case of vandalizing the TDP office in Gannavaram and trying to threaten the complainant to withdraw the complaint.
He has been sentenced to fourteen days of Remand and he was shifted to the district jail in Vijayawada.

High Drama followed after Vamsi’s arrest yesterday morning. He was picked up from his apartment in My Home Bhooja, HITEC City, Hyderabad in the early hours of Thursday and was brought to Vijayawada on the road.
He was questioned for eight hours in Krishnalanka PS. He was produced in the court only after midnight and the arguments went on till the early hours of today.

Throughout his journey from Hyderabad to the Magistrate, Vamsi’s wife and followers followed him.

In the entire episode, Vamsi’s close friend, Kodali Nani is missing.
Nani and Vamsi are almost like conjoint twins and are partners in everything including the character assassination of Nara Bhuvaneshwari.
In every press meet in the last five years, both of them used to make challenges to both their names.
Kodali Nani was in Hyderabad when Vamsi was arrested. There are reports that Vamsi dialed Nani as soon as the Police informed him about the arrest.
Nani himself is terrified about his arrest and so keeps himself away from Vamsi.
It is widely speculated that after Vamsi’s arrest, Nani’s name is next in Nara Lokesh’s Red Book and it is a matter of time, before the former Minister goes to jail.
