
Ex Vice President Venkaiah Naidu was addressing the seminar held on One Nation, One Election, in Tirupati. He took the opportunity to talk about parties that thrived by using obscene and offensive language.
The parties focused on using foul language than on governance and policies in the Assembly. They didn’t leave out the mothers and wives who were not part of public life. Such parties have been shown the door. All leaders who spoke filthy language have been voted out. Bhootula kante polling booth goppadi, balamainadi, said Venkaiah Naidu.

MLAs must be reachable to people. They must speak decent language, he said. Venkaiah Naidu said he was against free schemes. Only education and health must be free, he said.
He said that one nation, one election would save money and is cost-effective. Otherwise, the spending on elections has gone into thousands of crores, he rued.

Venkaiah said the politics must be bereft of caste, religion and money power. But the present parties are giving priority to criminals, caste and money power, the ex VP said.
He also touched upon another important topic. The ex Vice President said that the regional parties that lost power are behaving brashly. If the people have given mandate to another party, they must abide by it whether they like it or not. They must sit in the opposition for five years, he said.
