Vidadala Rajini Brother-in-Law Gopi Arrest

YSRCP ex minister Vidadala Rajini’s brother-in-law Gopi has been arrested by ACB officials. He was arrested in Gachibowli and is being taken to Vijayawada.

A case has been filed on Gopi and Vidadala Rajini regarding extortion of money from concrete quarry owners in Yadlapadu. It is known that the quarry owners complained against YSRCP leader Rajini. There are accusations that Rajani used her power to threaten the quarry owners when she was a minister.

Based on complaints, ACB filed a case on Rajini. There were allegations against her brother-in-law Gopi. So in a latest move, the ACB took Gopi into custody.

From Hyderabad, Gopi is being taken to Vijayawada. While cases were filed in the past, ACB’s latest move has left Rajini in shock.

ACB filed a case on Rajini in March, 2025. There are allegations that she threatened Sri Lakshmi Balaji Stone Crushers’ management in the name of vigilance raids in 2020 in Palnadu district’s Yadlapadu.

Rajini extorted Rs 2.2 crore from them, the stone crushers’ management complained. The ACB filed a case with Rajini as A1, IAS officer Jashua as A2, Gopi as A3 and Rajini’s secretary Ramakrishna as A4.

Meanwhile, Rajini and Gopi filed for anticipatory bail. Vigilance official Jashua filed a quash petition. After hearing the case, the Court reserved its judgement.
