Vijayasai Reddy

Ex MP Vijayasai Reddy had categorically said that he would stay from politics and turn an agriculturist. He said he was done with politics for life.

But looks like the politician in him refuses to die down. He had spoken about coterie around Jagan and drew flak from the party.

He was also trolled for talking about coterie where many felt he was ‘the’ coterie. Now, Sai Reddy has once again taken to X and posted his comment.

In that he spoke about kings being surrounded by coteries in olden days. He went on to say a king had coterie. No matter how the country was or how the people were, the coterie would say “aha Raja, oho Raja”.

This would keep the king in false illusion that all was well. In the process, the coterie would get its way. Due to such governance, the king would lose his power and his kingdom too.

But a king who was aware of the coterie, would go into people in disguise and find out about their welfare. He would then strike down the coterie and save his kingdom. If the king has to remain good in the fort, he has to come into people.

He has to understand the aspirations and wishes of people. Else, the coterie won’t leave and the king will lose his kingdom.

The same happens in a democracy too, he said ending his tweet.

If one reads this, it does not take much to understand that he is hinting at Jagan to come out of his Tadepalli palace and understand what people want from him.

But a question arises here. Is Jagan not aware of what people want. He has already done padayatras in the past and must be able to understand the pulse of the people.

Or is it Vijayasai Reddy hinting that Jagan take up a padayatra again as the days of moving about in disguise are long gone!

Whatever was Vijayasai Reddy’s intention, he seems to be someone who cannot let go of his political views.
