Pawan Kalyan Sends A Cheque to Konidela village

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan donated Rs 50 lakh to Konidela village in Nandikotkur mandal, Nandyal district. In March, Pawan Kalyan participated in a development programme in Pudicharla, Kurnool district.

At the time, Nandikotkur MLA Jayasurya met him and requested the Deputy CM to develop Konidela village. Responding to the request, Pawan Kalyan promised to develop the village that matches his surname, with money from his personal trust. The Deputy CM also adopted the village.

Accordingly, he gave Rs 50 lakh to the village. The cheque was given by Collector Rajakumari to the local officials at Nandyal collectorate. She directed that the funds be used for the development of Konidela village.




On the occasion, the Collector shared that the district officials decided to provide complete infrastructure facilities to Konidela. As per the request of the villagers, a tank with a capacity of 90,000 litres, roads and drainage system will be provided, the Collector said.
