VVR Krishnam Raju Arrested

Politics in Andhra Pradesh have once again flared up after Krishnam Raju, a journalist known for his close proximity to the YSRCP, made highly insensitive and derogatory remarks about the Amaravati region and the women living there—referring to them as prostitutes and calling the area a hub of sex workers.

His comments sparked widespread outrage and condemnation across party lines, with many deeming them inexcusable and deeply offensive.
