The inauguration ceremony for Amaravati 2.0 is scheduled to take place on May 2nd. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Amaravati and will inaugurate the works.
Unlike the last time, Chandrababu Naidu is swift to move things in Amaravati. Tenders worth Rs 41,000 crore for various projects in Amaravati have already been awarded, and work has commenced.

The other day, the state government called for tenders to construct an integrated state secretariat comprising five towers, with an estimated cost of nearly Rs 4,700 crore.
Chandrababu Naidu is keen to show significant progress in the Capital Region in the next three years so that there are no more attempts to change the Capital even if the Government changes in 2029 or later.

Later, we have seen the mayhem he unleashed on Amaravati between 2019 and 2024 in the name of three capitals.
But in the 2024 elections, the people of Vishakapatnam especially displayed a tremendous amount of wisdom and voted against this Thuglaq Formula.
Amaravati will progress so much by 2029, and that is impossible to change it.
Neither the courts nor the people will appreciate any such attempt.
With even the people of Vishakapatnam rejecting the idea, it is better for Jagan to attend this ceremony and become a part of the normal.
It makes no sense to antagonize the people of Amaravati by skipping this ceremony for no reason.
But then, the problem is that Jagan carries loads of ego.
He is someone who skipped the Assembly because he does not want to go there as the Opposition.
Will he shed the ego and attend the inauguration ceremony for Amaravati 2.0?
Also, it is interesting to see what reason Jagan comes up this time to skip the ceremony!
The Government should invite him properly so that he does not get to say he is not invited properly.
