Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the flood-affected areas of Pithapuram, Kakinada district, a couple of days ago. The absence of senior leader Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy has become a talking point for the party.

Dwarampudi is in neck-deep trouble with the change in the Government.

Dwarampudi was the MLA of Kakinada City in the previous term. When not in power, Pawan targeted Dwarampudi’s corruption in the East Godavari region.

In response, Dwarampudi abused Pawan and his family. He also challenged that he would defeat Pawan if the latter contested from any constituency in East Godavari.

Dwarampudi was also one of the leaders who made disgusting comments about Nara Bhuvaneshwari in the state assembly.

Meanwhile, Dwarampudi lost the recent elections and so did his party, YCP. On the other side, Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena Party won by a thumping majority, in alliance with TDP and BJP.

Dwarampudi is accused of recycling Ration Rice and exporting it to other countries illegally using Kakinada Port. The new government is seriously pursuing the cases. The Civil Supplies Minister from Janasena, Nadendla Manohar is working as if it is the top item in his agenda in the last three months.

In all probability, Dwarampudi may be the next high-profile arrest in YSR Congress. He is trying to avoid the Government’s ire by skipping Jagan’s tour.
