Two incidents in the last 24 hours painted a very wrong picture of the Policing in Andhra Pradesh.

Kadapa Police let go of YSR Congress Social Media Varra Ravindra Reddy after arrest. He is rumored to be YS Bharathi’s PA and has abused everyone from Chandrababu Naidu to Pawan Kalyan. He did not even spare Vijaya Lakshmi, Sharmila, and Viveka’s daughter Suneetha.
Varra went into hiding now. The Angry Government had transferred out Kadapa SP V Harshavardhan Raju.

Even before the people forgot this, another incident happened and this time in Guntur.
Pro-YSR Congress Rowdy-sheeter Borugadda Anil was presented in Mangalagiri court the other day and while returning to Rajahmundry jail the Police stopped at a restaurant in Gannavaram and treated him with Biryani.

The police themselves served him the Biryani. Seven Police officials were suspended in this issue after the CCTV visuals of the Restaurant went viral.
The two incidents highlighted that there are Pro-YSRCP officials in the Department even in the new Government.
They do not mend their ways even though they are aware that the Government is serious on these two cases.
TDP supporters are fuming at the fact that the government is still failing to get a grip on the department.
“If the Police still continue to support the YSR Congress Goons, what is the use of winning 164 seats? If the Police Department itself does not respect the Government, it speaks very badly about the Government. How long it will take to cleanse the system?” they are questioning.
They are also doubting if the continuous Sexual Assault Incidents across the state are also planted by some officials so as to benefit the Opposition politically.
Are they being lenient to such crimes so that the Government gets bad name?
