The BRS is making significant efforts to capitalize on the Congress’s failures and reestablish its influence in Telangana politics. The party is seeking to win the hearts of the people. The BRS attempted to expose the Revanth Reddy government by rallying unemployed youth, but this effort failed.

Additionally, BRS leaders tried to criticize the Revanth Reddy government over the issue of loan waivers, but this also did not gain traction. In Telangana, the arrest of Kavitha did not garner much attention, which was a significant setback for the party.

However, the BRS found an opportunity in the Assembly with the Sabitha Indra Reddy episode. Sabitha passionately responded to allegations made by Revanth Reddy, and the BRS seized this moment to demand an apology from Revanth in the Assembly. Both KTR and Harish Rao framed this incident as an insult to the women of Telangana.

The Congress, however, provided a strong counter to the BRS’s strategy in the Sabitha episode. Both Revanth and Bhatti Vikramarka criticized Sabitha for leaving the Congress after benefiting from numerous positions within the party. Revanth accused the BRS of insulting Tribal woman minister Seethakka on social media.

Bhatti also noted that Sabitha could not accept his selection as CLP leader after the 2018 elections, highlighting that Bhatti belongs to the SC community. He exposed Sabitha’s intolerance towards selecting an SC leader as CLP. It appears that the BRS did not anticipate such a fierce counterattack from the Congress in the Assembly.
