YS Jagan Mohan Reddy foul cries on Eenadu and Andhrajyothy day in and day out. Even though Ramoji Rao is no more, we still see Jagan doing his Naamasmarana.
When he was the Chief Minister, Jagan used to say Chandrababu Naidu could be killed if Eenadu and Andhrajyothy were killed.

Jagan and his ecosystem believe the two Newspapers do continuous propaganda against TDP’s opponents and bring political mileage to Chandrababu Naidu.
But then, there is Sakshi for the YSR Congress. Why is the paper not able to replicate the same?

There is no doubt that Eenadu and Andhrajyothy are Pro-TDP. But then, they are not completely pro-like like how Sakshi is for YSR Congress.
Both the Papers play Opposition to Chandrababu Naidu whenever TDP is in power.

In fact, they do that better than Sakshi.
While Sakshi’s coverage appears more like crying on Chandrababu Naidu, Eenadu and AJ take a very different role.
For instance, we have seen numerous pieces in Eenadu about Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy’s atrocities pushing the Government. Eenadu has written many articles about how some officials are still continuing from the YSR Congress regime.
These stories are not to the liking of those in power but Eenadu exposes the gaps in the Government and pushes it to do its job.
Andhrajyothy is even cut-throat.
It was Andhrajyothy who published a story about how the TTD Chairman and E.O. had a heated argument in the presence of the Chief Minister during a review meeting after the stampede in Tirumala.
Andhrajyothy also carried a story about Bonda Uma firing on the officials in the Assembly over some land regularization.
There were many stories about how some MLAs are bringing a bad name to the Government in the last nine months.
While Sakshi would brush off these stories under the carpet, Eenadu and Andhrajyothy expose them without hesitation so that the Government has a chance to correct them.
Thus, these Papers earn some credibility in the Opposition and they are taken seriously during the elections.
On the other side, Sakshi is all about Jagan Bhajana and blaming Chandrababu Naidu for everything under the sun.
Readers feel like Sakshi is a party pamphlet and do not like to read. Only the party sympathizers opt for the Paper but Eenadu and AJ increase their circulation before the elections and use that during the elections.
