Political Parties have submitted their Expenses for the 2024 Elections to the Election Commission of India. It goes without saying that the actual expenses are several times higher than what are reported.
In Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party has reported a spending of 34.25 Crores for the 2024 Elections.

YSR Congress reported a whopping 325.67 Crores which is almost 10 times more than what the winning party spent.
Interestingly, the BJP is the Highest Spender in the country with a sensational 1493.91 Crore and Congress comes second with 620.14 Crore.

YSR Congress is the Party with Third Highest Spending in the Country. It has spent more than BJD, Trinamool Congress, DMK, and BRS.
Naturally, the actual expenses of TDP and YSR Congress are much higher than what they really spent but we will get an idea of the proportionate spending.

And that implies YSR Congress has spent ten times more than what the TDP had spent.
Even after so much spending, YSR Congress had managed to win only Eleven seats while TDP won a whopping 134 Seats.
With its allies, TDP+ won a Sensational 164 seats in the 2024 elections.
This also carries a message that money definitely plays a crucial role in an election but there are several factors influencing the outcome of an election.
