YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been facing several setbacks since his party lost power in Andhra Pradesh. From key leaders leaving the party to him getting stuck in the illegal assets case, Jagan seems to be having a difficult period.
Now, if ongoing rumours are anything to go by, his wife YS Bharati may soon be investigated or even arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Reports suggest that the CBI may soon question Bharati regarding her alleged involvement in the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy.

Allegedly, tensions arose between Avinash Reddy and Vivekananda Reddy over the Kadapa MP ticket during the 2019 elections. It is said that while Bharati supported Avinash, Jagan opposed the idea, saying that the ticket could not be given to Avinash while Vivekananda Reddy was there. Sources claim this dispute led to the plot to kill Vivekananda Reddy.
It was stated that the investigation against Bharati did not happen over the last five years due to Jagan’s position in power. Also, reports hint that Bharati’s influence may have protected Avinash Reddy from conviction in the case for all these years.
