Jagan 2.0 seems to be a washed down version of Jagan 1.0. While Jagan spoke of nothing but ‘people’s growth’ during his term, he seems to be losing his edge after losing power.
He had earlier said that he will start a tour of districts mostly towards the end of January. He said he will go into districts every Wednesday, Thursday.

Then he went to London, came back to Bengaluru and then came to Tadepalli. Looks like the travel has taken a toll on him.
When asked when he will start the padayatra, he said it’s only been nine months since elections. When the reporter did not relent and reminded him that he said he would start after Sankranti, Jagan simply shrugged it off and said it will start when the time comes.

Padayatra was once a trademark of YSR family. Now, YSR is no more, the sister is in opposition. That leaves Jagan. But how will he face the people who didn’t even give him enough votes to become the opposition party leader.
Also, during Jagan’s term, Lokesh hit on his trademark and super successfully completed Yuva Galam padayatra.

Now the ruling party is getting projects from the Center, projects from MNCs and fulfilling its promises made during Yuva Galam.
All this seems to have impacted the memory or the spirit of Jagan, who doesn’t appear to be keen on ‘going into people’.
