Today happens to be the sixth death anniversary of YS Vivekananda Reddy. Speaking on the occassion, his daughter Sunitha expressed anguish about his death and the way the case is being handled.

Recently, one of the main witnesses Rangaiah died and a case was filed saying it was a suspicious death. Repostmortem was done and the issue became a topic of public debate.

Viveka’s daughter Sunitha grieved the death of her father and said she has been fighting for justice for years now. She said barring one person, the others were walking around freely.

She complained that the investigation has stopped in the case. Sunitha said she was meted out injustice and added that she will continue to fight for justice. Sunitha said she will go to any extent for justice.

While those accused in the case are going about their life, it was her family that was suffering, she said.

The CBI is reopening the case. I am confident I will get justice, said Sunitha. On the other hand, the accused are managing the system, she said adding that there was a need to protect the witnesses.

There is immense pressure on witnesses and the deaths of witnesses are suspicious, said Sunitha.




Recently, the police have also said they will start fresh investigations in Viveka’s case as they had doubts about the deaths of witnesses.
