50 Crore Dowry: AIIMS Topper Under Fire!

A topper from the best medical institute in India showed that no matter how educated you are, you can never buy class and decency.

A woman from Bengaluru, who goes by the name Dr Phoenix online, revealed that her friend was in talks to marry a man who ranked first in the AIIMS entrance exam. After initial talks, she claims that the topper’s family demanded a massive ₹50 crore in dowry.

This came as a shock to everyone as people expected better from a well-educated doctor at AIIMS. The family was heartbroken by this demand as ₹50 crore would wipe out all their savings.

However, the parents of the bride are hesitant to raise their voices or file a complaint. They accepted that marrying in the Telugu community often means paying a high dowry.

Dr. Phoenix’s post on X initially received a lot of response with users sharing their own dowry stories. People called the act absolutely shameless and the guy a “low life.”

However, some users questioned the legitimacy of the story and came in defense of the dowry culture, claiming that it works both ways. It shows that this toxic culture has become a deeply rooted problem in Indian society.
