Agreement Live-In Notice Breakup

A 29-year-old woman from Mumbai has filed a case against a 46-year-old man, accusing him of cheating her in the name of marriage and sexually abusing her.

To secure bail, the accused produced a live-in relationship agreement to the court, arguing that the woman’s complaint was invalid according to the terms of their contract.

Condemning her allegations, the man hired a lawyer and produced their live-in relationship agreement as a piece of evidence in the court.

The agreement mentions seven conditions – the couple would live together for one year, neither of them could file sexual abuse charges against the other, the woman would stay at the man’s house as part of the agreement, a one-month notice period was required if any of them wanted to end the relationship, the man would not be responsible if the woman became pregnant, restrictions on family, friends, and relatives’ visits, and a focussing on maintaining mental health during the relationship.
