Disabled Govt Employee Dances

A recent video has been going viral on the internet, sparking widespread debate online. The video shows a woman dancing, who was recently selected for a government job under the disability quota.

Radhe Jat, a leader of the National Educated Youth Union stirred the whole controversy, claiming foul play regarding her examination by doctors of AIIMS Bhopal, further asking for a re-examination.

Priyanka Kadam, the woman under question, has come forward fiercely defending her actions.

She explained how she was able to walk and even dance for a few minutes due to the highly complex surgeries done on her hip region.

She said, “I come from an ordinary background, and I have achieved my position in life by struggling hard…

…I may look like a normal woman at first glance, but it is because of implants installed during a complex surgery that I am able to walk and can even dance for five to ten minutes, as suggested by the doctors. But I also have to take painkillers at times.”

This incident proves that one may never know what someone else is going through in their lives based on a 15-second clip.

We need to learn to be more empathetic in our lives to avoid hurting any kind of hurt, knowingly or otherwise to a person to the best of our abilities.
