Meerut Murder Accused Daughter's Parents Demand Maximun Punishment

Meerut has been shaken by a gruesome murder where a woman, Muskan Rastogi, along with her lover, Sahil Shukla, killed her husband, Saurabh Rajput, and hid his dismembered body in a cement-filled drum. Even Muskan’s own parents are demanding the harshest punishment for her.

“My daughter has no right to live. She should be hanged,” said Muskan’s father, Pramod Rastogi, in a shocking statement.

He revealed that Muskan admitted to killing Saurabh because he stopped her from taking drugs. “She told me she couldn’t live without them,” he added, blaming Sahil for leading her into addiction.

Saurabh had married Muskan in 2016 despite family opposition and lived separately with her. He worked at a bakery in London and returned home 22 days before the murder to celebrate Muskan’s birthday. However, she and Sahil had already planned to kill him.

On March 4, Muskan sedated Saurabh, and the couple stabbed him, chopped his body into pieces, and sealed it in a plastic drum filled with cement.

The crime was exposed when Saurabh’s brother, Rahul, noticed a foul smell and found Sahil in the house.

Meanwhile, Muskan’s parents also grew suspicious when she claimed that Saurabh had been murdered by his own family. When her father confronted her, she broke down and confessed.

Police have arrested Muskan and Sahil, and both are now in custody, awaiting trial.
