A disturbing incident has emerged from Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh where a ward boy was caught on CCTV stealing gold earrings from a deceased woman’s body.
The woman had died in a road accident and her body was kept at the district hospital for postmortem. What shocked everyone is that the theft happened right under the noses of her grieving family members.

In the viral video, the ward boy can be seen cautiously looking around before covering the woman’s body with a sheet. Moments later, he discreetly removes the earrings from her ears.
Despite the presence of her family, he manages to commit the theft without drawing attention. The entire act was recorded on a hospital CCTV camera and the footage is now circulating widely on social media.

People were quick to react online, expressing disbelief and fury. One user wrote, “People have stooped so low, they don’t even spare the dead for money.”
Another commented, “This is not surprising anymore. This is what Kalyug looks like.” Many users demanded strict action against the hospital staff responsible.

After the video surfaced, the hospital authorities identified the accused and suspended him immediately. Local police have also launched an investigation based on the CCTV footage.

The inhumanity displayed in the video has left viewers shocked and angry, with many demanding accountability from the healthcare system.
