Valentine’s got a dark twist when a shocking case of misconduct came to everyone’s notice. A teacher at Kisan High School in Bihar’s Kishanganj district allegedly asked a female student to be his girlfriend, citing the Mahabharata’s Eklavya as justification. The incident, which surfaced around Valentine’s Day, has sparked anger among villagers, who are demanding action.
The teacher, Vikas Kumar, reportedly harassed the Class 12 student multiple times over the phone and even proposed a trip to Siliguri. Despite her complaint to the school, no police case has been filed. Instead, the matter was passed to the Education Department, which has only sought an explanation from Kumar.

Shockingly, sources claim Kumar had previously made similar advances toward a female colleague, whom he later married. He is still serving as an invigilator for the Matriculation exam at a private school.
Villagers, outraged over the lack of action, staged a protest outside the school, demanding accountability. The District Magistrate assured that the matter is being taken seriously.
