A video from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, has gone viral, showing a woman crying on the road and accusing the police of ignoring her complaints.

She claimed that their negligence had pushed her to the brink of desperation. The video, widely circulated on social media, has triggered mixed reactions from the public.
Reports suggest that the woman had previously filed multiple cases against her neighbor under sections 115(2), 352, and 296, alleging assault.

The neighbor, fearing further trouble, reportedly left the area. Unhappy with the police’s response, the woman staged a dramatic protest outside the police station.
Social media users have expressed a range of opinions on the matter. Some blamed the police, calling for stricter laws against alleged inaction. One comment read, “The country is being ruined because of the police. Until strict laws are made against them, this will continue.”

Others raised concerns about false accusations, particularly in family disputes. One user questioned, “What if a child who loves his father more is used as a weapon by his mother to harm the husband?”
Another asked, “If a wife leaves her husband after ten years of marriage but, fearing her reputation, falsely blames him instead of revealing her secret boyfriend, what should be done?”
Many cautioned against judging the case solely based on viral videos. “Social media reels and videos can’t tell us what’s right or wrong.
This woman might be right, or the accused could be innocent,” one comment read. Others cited past cases like Atul-Subhash, arguing that “on-the-spot decisions seem more justified now.” The Agra Police have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
