Chhaava Fans’ Treasure Hunt

A strange incident has been going viral on the internet, capturing the attention of Indian social media.

After watching Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’, many locals from Madhya Pradesh’s Burhanpur have started illegal excavations near Asirgarh Fort to find the ‘long-lost treasure’ that the Mughals looted from the Marathas in the film.

Although there is no historical evidence or record of the same, this does not seem to stop the people, as the digging goes nonstop from 7 in the evening to 3 in the morning.

This shows the increasing lack of logical thinking in our country, where a simple film can influence people to abandon their everyday lives in search of a supposed treasure of which there is no proof.

If only these people had the same level of dedication towards their work or their goals in life, India would have been a very different place today.

Instead, we are busy spending all night wrapped up in dirt and soil just because a movie hinted that there may have been looted treasure stored at the fort at a point in time.
