Last night’s game between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals could be called anything but fair, at least according to Delhi fans.
While Mumbai played a dramatic innings, scoring 180 for 5 wickets, DC were not so lucky, as they succumbed to the MI bowling attack, scoring just 121 runs in 18.2 overs.

It’s not to say that DC’s elimination from the playoffs has been taken well by its fans. They have accused MI of foul play, especially regarding a controversial DRS decision for Suryakumar’s wicket.
Suryakumar remained not out, due to a controversial not out decision due to impact falling on the outside.

While there was clear evidence of outside impact, many DC fans got furious, claiming that MI cheated their way through the DRS.
With MI fans standing firmly behind their team, it will be interesting to see if this matter is given any attention from the top brass at all due to its classically controversial nature.
