Rohit Sharma, who is currently 37 years old, will be 40 years old by the time of the 2027 ODI World Cup.
Virat Kohli, currently 36, will be 39 years old at the same time.

So naturally, many have started asking questions regarding the participation of these players in the upcoming ODI World Cup.
While legends like Steve Smith have announced their ODI retirement, making way for future generations, many are expecting the same from Virat and Rohit.

While die-hard fans would want them to keep playing, one can’t miss out on the fact that the writing on the wall has been there for some time, and the legends should step up in the near future, at least to acknowledge it.
