ICC Banning Pakistan

The battle between India and Pakistan has proved detrimental to the league games of both nations, with the IPL and the PSL being postponed due to the current situation.

While the IPL is already planning its resumption strategy, PSL seems to be stuck between a rock and a hard place, especially thanks to India and the BCCI’s soft power and relationship with the top UAE officials.

It has been reported that the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has denied PCB’s request to hold PSL’s remaining games in Dubai after an indication from top BCCI officials.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah’s strong relationship with the top officials at ECB seems to have played a major role in it, leading to a confused PCB left with little to no hopes of resuming its domestic league, considering the departure of the foreign players.

Many in India are rejoicing in this decision, with some even urging the BCCI to use its power to ban Pakistan from world cricket due to its continued support of terror groups.




With all hopes now lost for PCB, it will be interesting to see if Pakistan has yet another move left in its pocket to continue its highly cherished PSL.
