There are 12 league matches and 4 playoff games left in IPL 2025. Earlier Hyderabad was supposed to host Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator, while Kolkata was to host Qualifier 2 and the Final.
It’s not clear yet if the same cities will host those matches now. Reports say BCCI is looking at safer options like Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad to finish the tournament.
Many foreign players will fly back home by Saturday night but BCCI is trying to ensure the rest of the season goes smoothly.
It looks like the IPL could resume soon, as several international players are still in India. If things remain calm over the next couple of days, the tournament might continue without much further disruption.
