
It has been finally decided that both the Asia Cup and the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 will be hosted with changes to adjust to the current geopolitical problems going on between India and Pakistan.
While Pakistan will have all its matches played in Colombo in the Women’s World Cup, the Asia Cup will be hosted in T20I format in the UAE, despite BCCI being the official host.

This has led to many coming forward to bash the BCCI for seemingly taking a weak approach towards Pakistan.
Almost every Indian cricket fan wanted the BCCI to use its power at hand to put Pakistan into a disadvantageous position in these tournaments, with some even calling for it to be banned from international events.

But the BCCI taking a moderate route has made fans frustrated, who now demand a valid reason as to why we are still bending to accommodate a nation that resorts to cheap acts of terrorism whenever it can’t get its way normally.
It will be interesting to see how this dynamics plays out in the near future as teams get ready to battle it out, both on and off the ground.
