The consistency that Hyderabad assured in their batting department last year is completely missing this season.

Firstly, Reddy is lacking the kind of confidence that is expected of him. He was absolutely composed and super aggressive with the bat last year, which eventually lead to his national side debut.

However, in the recent months, after recovering from the injury, Nitish Reddy has been finding it hard to get back to his best. The lack of confidence is showing in his poor short selection and inadequate performances.

The we have Klaasen. This is South African, middle order batsman was in absolute mayhem last year. He used to bring the team from hopeless situations to winning situations on his own.

But in the recent months, his form has also been dipping and the same is established by the sharp decline in batting average and strike rate. This was always suspected to be an apprehension with this South African gun batsman, and sadly that is turning to reality this year.

But at the same time, other players like Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma are also expected to perform consistently at the top of the order. Ishan Kishan has become a baggage to the team after the splendid century in the first game, as he had been struggling to get any sort of runs in the subsequent games.

The end point is that Sunrisers Hyderabad is not clicking together as a unit, and this is where the problem is coming up.
