Team India found a new coach in the form of Gautam Gambhir after the ever so reliable Rahul Dravid. While great things were expected from Gambhir after his historic feat in the recent IPL season, his performance has been diabolical.

After a wobbly performance in the Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and the epic whitewash in the New Zealand series, serious doubts are being raised about Ganbhir’s ability to lead the side.
Needless to say, Gambhir has been a below par coach as the team has become extremely volatile under his leadership. The results haven’t been consistent, the tempo is lacking and the seniors, including Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja and others have been underperforming.

With so much pitted against Gambhir in his maiden year as the coach of the Indian side, there’s increasing commotion on social media to sack him at the earliest.
The BCCI is also said to be seriously considering the possibility of replacing Gambhir as the head coach if things don’t improve drastically in the coming games.

The team has to improve in batting and bowling it better things are to be expected. After having secured his desired assistant coach and relevant batting and bowling coaches, Gambhir was expected to build an indestructible side but sadly the exact opposite has happened.
If the Indian side doesn’t punch above its weight in the coming series against Australia, then Gambhir could be having a really rough time ahead.
