Bollywood actress and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta has filed a legal case in a Chandigarh court against her fellow co-owners, Mohit Burman and Ness Wadia.
The dispute is about an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on April 21, 2025.

Preity claims the meeting broke rules under the Companies Act, 2013. She had raised concerns in an email on April 10, but says her objections were ignored.
During the meeting, Burman and Wadia appointed Muneesh Khanna as a new director. Preity Zinta and another co-owner, Karan Paul, were against this move.

In her petition, Preity is asking the court to:
1. Cancel the April 21 meeting
2. Stop any decisions made in it from being enforced
3. Prevent Muneesh Khanna from acting as a director
4. Ban future company meetings unless both she and Karan Paul are present
Despite the legal battle, Preity Zinta continues to support her IPL team. Punjab Kings, led by Shreyas Iyer, are having a strong season and have qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
They currently hold third place with 17 points, and their next matches are against Delhi Capitals on May 24 and Mumbai Indians on May 26.
