SRH’s Tragic Fall

SRH seems to be in a lot of trouble, stuck in a situation just like RCB the previous year.

Having played 8 matches in total, the side led by Pat Cummins has won just 2 matches, making it sit at number 9 on the points table.

Ironically, RCB was in a similar situation last year. While most teams would have given up at this point, RCB showed an unbelievable story of a comeback, qualifying for the playoffs by securing an astonishing streak of wins.

To put it in the words of SRH Coach Daniel Vettori, “RCB last year was one team who was able to resurrect their season. If we can take some inspiration, it’s from RCB.”

But things don’t look too good for SRH right now. SRH seems to be lacking when it comes to having passionate players and fans.

Last night’s match between SRH and MI highlighted several problems, where it seemed that the crowd was cheering for MI at SRH’s own home ground.

Although SRH are facing bad times, they should not be discounted yet. They have the players who can turn things around, and it will be expected of them to do so.

It will be interesting to see if SRH can play a 180° move like RCB in the last season to qualify for the playoffs.
