Composer Anirudh Ravichander has a huge line-up this year, starting with Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, which is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 4th.

Even though Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi ended up being a failure, Anirudh Ravichander’s background scores and songs in the film were highly appreciated.

After Vidaamuyarchi, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom Paradise under Anirudh’s composition will be his immediate next release.

Following Paradise, Rajinikanth’s Coolie is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14th, Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharasi is slated for a September 5th release, and Pradeep Ranganathan’s Love Insurance Kompany is set for a September 18th release. All these four big projects are scheduled to release within just a two-month gap.

Apart from these, Nani’s The Paradise, Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, and Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 are also in the pipeline.

Given Anirudh’s packed release schedule this year, some netizens on social media have expressed concern that such a heavy workload might impact the quality of his compositions. They suggest that he should carefully select projects that allow him more creative space, possibly limiting himself to two or three projects per year to ensure he delivers his best.

Notably, 2024 turned out to be a disappointing year for Anirudh, as all three movies he composed for—Vettaiyan, Indian 2, and Devara Part 1—were considered failures. It remains to be seen whether 2025 will be a successful comeback for him with such a significant line-up.
