Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran movie, based on real-life incidents of Major Mukund Varadarajan, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, was released on October 31st as a Diwali special and has acquired positive responses from the audiences.

This movie was a huge blockbuster, and as per the official update from the production house, Amaran movie has collected more than 200 crores worldwide in its first 10 days of theatrical run.

Amaran movie on its second weekend, which means yesterday and the day before yesterday, was housefull in many centers in Tamilnadu and has a strong hold even on the weekdays.

In this scenario, as still only a few days were left for the release of Suriya’s most anticipated Kanguva movie, which is on November 14th, it may have been affected due to the blockbuster success of Amaran in Tamil Nadu.

Amaran was a blockbuster success than it expected, and family audiences in huge numbers came to watch the movie in theatres on its second weekend.

As per reports, because of this, many theatre owners in Tamil Nadu were planning to retain the Amaran movie for the next two weekends too, despite the Kanguva release.

So Kanguva may lose a certain number of screens in Tamil Nadu due to Amaran’s blockbuster impact; if Kanguva acquires positive word of mouth, it will end up as a blockbuster.
