According to reports for the past few years except Don and Ponniyin Selvan franchise, no movies became a profitable venture for Lyca Productions including recently released Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan.

The shooting of Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi movie directed by Magizh Thirumeni was completed a few months ago, and still there aren’t any proper updates from the production house for the fans.
In this scenario, the fans of Ajith Kumar were trending the hashtag Worst Production House Lyca for this.

Previously they shared the first look poster of this movie and then gave updates about the cast of Vidaamuyarchi, but all the posters were released in the same template, and this itself has been trolled by the audiences on social media.
Also, Ajith Kumar first completed the shooting of Vidaamuyarchi; now he is acting in Good Bad Ugly; even the Good Bad Ugly has confirmed that the movie is going to be released for Pongal 2025. But still, there aren’t any updates about Vidaamuyarchi’s release date.

It looks like Lyca Production House is in serious trouble after producing multiple disaster movies such as Kamal Haasan’s Indian-2, Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam and Vettaiyan, Chandramukhi, and many others, and the loss due to continuous failures is now reflecting in releasing Vidaamuyarchi, says the audiences on social media.
