Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and directed by Sekhar Kammula, is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20th.
With only two days left until the release, pre-bookings for Kuberaa have already begun in many centers across the nation and according to reports, the Inox and PVR chains are expected to start their pre-bookings by this evening.

Despite Kuberaa being a bilingual movie with Dhanush and Nagarjuna starring in prominent roles, pre-bookings are good in the Telugu states. However, in Tamil Nadu particularly in main centers like Chennai, for some reason, the initial push is not yet there.
Following this observation, some trade experts suggested that Tamil audiences might be confused, perceiving Kuberaa as solely a Telugu film, which it isn’t, as it’s a bilingual movie.

They also noted that Dhanush’s aggressive speech at the Kuberaa pre-release event and his beggar role in the film resonated with the audience.
Therefore, it’s still early, and we need to see if the booking pace in Tamil Nadu and major centers like Chennai picks up, as there are still a couple of days remaining for the release.

Nevertheless, the Kuberaa team has generated good pre-release hype and It remains to be seen whether pre-bookings in Chennai will pick up by this evening, or if Kuberaa’s success in Tamil Nadu will be solely dependent on positive word-of-mouth upon its release on June 20th.
