Earlier, Sudha Kongara and Suriya had announced a project titled Purananooru. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Suriya exited the project.

Recently, a prominent Tamil Nadu distributor shared his perspective, suggesting that fate played a role in Suriya’s departure and Sivakarthikeyan’s casting.

Furthermore, beyond fate, Parasakthi is reportedly based on the Anti-Hindi agitation concept. It’s been speculated that Sivakarthikeyan, perceived as having more conviction on this subject, readily embraced the opportunity.
In contrast, Suriya might have been apprehensive about the film’s theme, potentially considering future political aspirations and the potential repercussions. This video has now gone viral.
