Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, Dragon features Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, alongside Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar as the female leads. The romantic drama is set for a worldwide theatrical release on February 21.

Producer Archana recently revealed a significant update about the film’s business status.

She stated, “All non-theatrical rights (OTT/Satellite) have been sold, making it a table profit for us. Whatever comes from theatrical revenue is excess profit. The film carries an important social message in an entertaining way, and I’m very proud of it.”

It is rare that a film starring not-so-big names already struck lucrative deals with OTTs and satellite channels.

In the latest development, Dragon has completed its censorship formalities and has been awarded a U/A certificate from the CBFC.

The film is set to clash with Dhanush’s directorial venture, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, making February 21 a double romantic treat for Tamil cinema fans.
